About
A quieter way to be findable.
Being reachable by the people you choose is one thing. Having your home address, phone number and family tree for sale to anyone who types your name is another. Quietname exists to close that gap, carefully, and with receipts.
We think privacy services should be calm, specific and checkable. Not loud, vague, or built on a number nobody can verify.
What we believe
Four principles we hold ourselves to.
Show, don't count
Every site gets its own status and its own evidence: a dated screenshot, a confirmation ID, and a hash you can verify. Including the sites that said no.
Fewer sites, done well
We cover 31 sites in 24 broker families at launch: the ones that actually surface when someone searches you. We'd rather prove those than claim hundreds.
Work with the law, not around it
We act as your authorized agent with written, revocable consent, and we build around California's free DROP rather than competing with it.
Ask for as little as possible
Name, city and state to start. Never your Social Security number. Delete your account, and everything in it, from your account page whenever you want.
Where we are
Early, and honest about it.
- Removal work is done by people today, with automation added over time. Operators update every status by hand, and each update creates a proof record.
- The free scan's “likely listed” column is simulated and labeled as such. The search and opt-out links are real.
- Pricing and legal documents are drafts and may change before general availability.
- No testimonials, no invented statistics, no guaranteed removal. If we can't show it, we won't claim it.
