# Quietname

> Data-broker and people-search opt-out service for US consumers, with per-site status and proof records.

Updated: 2026-10-12. Removal is not guaranteed. Brokers may refuse, require identity verification or re-list data.

## Pricing and scope
- Free: demo exposure checklist with real search and opt-out links. Likely-listed results are simulated, not verified exposure.
- One-time pass: USD 49 once, placeholder price. One removal round across 31 covered sites and a report. No renewal or scheduled re-checks. Repeat passes are separate purchases.
- Annual individual: USD 89/year, recurring. Ongoing removal, re-checks every 90 days and re-filing when re-listed.
- Checkout is simulated while Stripe is unconfigured and charges nothing. Check get_pricing for current mode.
- Proof records distinguish pending, found, submitted, awaiting, removed and blocked outcomes; a report does not guarantee removal.

## How to use
1. Open https://beta.quietname.com/app/scan. The human signs in and supplies their search profile.
2. Review pricing, select a product at https://beta.quietname.com/app/billing and have the human confirm checkout.
3. The human signs authorized-agent consent at https://beta.quietname.com/app/consent before Quietname files requests. Consent can be revoked.
4. Review per-site evidence and pass reports in the portal. To let an AI assistant read status, create a read-only, one-hour token at https://beta.quietname.com/app/account; revoke it there.

- start_scan is a handoff stub to the demo portal scan. create_checkout_link returns a human billing link, not a paid order or Stripe session. Neither tool sends email, purchases a plan, signs consent or files requests.
- get_removal_status requires Authorization: Bearer with the human's scoped status token. No user ID parameter. Never put tokens in tool arguments or URLs.
